You may be like me, when I was first searching for the best online digital marketing courses. I became overwhelmed with the results found.
It was like being a kid again, standing in front of the glass window, at a candy shop.
Trying to decide what to devour and being very distracted by all the colors and choices at the same time.
Yep! That is how I felt when I was trying to find a really good affiliate marketing course, for beginners.
I wanted to learn from the best, but who is the best?
I don’t honestly believe that this type of question can really be answered truthfully.
Although there are some super amazing courses, none are perfect. There is no such thing at perfect but man, some can get really, really, I MEAN really good.

There is so much to learn, in the world of affiliate marketing.
But some of the basic tips can be explained, simply, with the below bullet points:
- Locate a product or service that you either use or believe in.
- Find out if the company, which sells the product has an affiliate program
- The company will have a way for you to promote this product or service
- Typically by generating a trackable link that you can use and send out
- Someone purchases the product or service using your unique link
- You receive a commission, from the sale of the product or service.
Wala, affiliate marketing explained in 3.3 steps, now go out there and start promoting. Wait a minute, not so fast. If only it were that easy, everyone would be doing it, right?
So, at this point, you still may need to ask yourself is affiliate marketing for a beginner?
Affiliate marketing is an amazing way to make side income, enough to maybe pay some small bills like the water bill, electric bill, grocery bill, gas bill, phone bills (man, I just realized that we have to pay a lot of bills) car maintenance bill and many other bills.

We all wish that we can find the “money button” but I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this just doesn’t exist. Like I’ve said many times and will keep saying, anything worth doing in life takes time, hard work, dedication, focus, and the ability to rise up after many failures without giving up.

The key is to learn from successful people and get them to take you under their wing. Then they can mentor you to success.
I know this sounds very good but you may soon discover that, yes, these types of people are out there. They typically charge thousands of dollars just for you to learn their “secrets.” You should “duplicate” their success, but even this does not guarantee results.

The challenge I faced, many times, was that I was trying to invest into myself and learn a new skills. I wanted to create wealth, which would give me the time needed focus on my passions and purpose in life. Which is to help and inspire others to pursue their dreams and goals.
I would find out, sometimes, the really hard way. Which was that I couldn’t afford to be in these types of programs. I didn’t have that type of cash and I was trying to learn how to create it.
Being super frustrated, I asked myself, how do these “gurus” expect the average person to cough up thousands of dollars? People like me were already struggling and had a tight grip on cash.
After my pockets were drained, it was back to the drawing board.
You can imagine that I must have felt like this dog (see picture above…) because every time I was excited for something, bam, I got the door shut inches from my face.
Oh, the frustration. Which is why having a strong backbone and tough skin is key to creating abundance and success for yourself. There will be many, many, many and did I say many failures in life. These failures will make you want to throw in the towel. When this happens,, you must never quit or give, just remember that. Like the story suggests, you could be 3 feet from gold when you do give up, so keep on digging.
Going back to mentorship and guidance. I truly do believe that this method is the most successful and fastest way to success. The question is, how do you get one without spending thousands of dollars?
